To make it interchangable with the Raymarine ST1000, ST2000, and Simrad TP10, TP22, TP32, you need to buy the tiller extension 10 and the bracket. To replace it for the Raymarine Q047 you need an 50mm extension.

The actuator peaks at 4.5 Amps current @ 12 volts under heavy load.

Normal operation is max 2 Amps when moving under normal loads.
During operation in regular conditions the current draw is 0.3 Amps on average @ 12 volts.

This linear actuator must be disconnected from the rudder before you can manually steer again.

The actuator is the Wuxi Hongba HB-DJ809 with some special additions. The cable is 200 cm and has a better waterproof connector. It also features position feedback in the form of a variable resistance, just like any rudder feedback unit out there. This removes the need for a separate rudder position sensor.
